PLYOMETRICS! P90X! Bring it!
I just finished my jump training for the day and I feel really good. Squats, little jumps, BIG jumps and circle runs. I brought it! My feet are a little sore but not too bad. The intentsity that I feel when I lift in the air is amazing. Leaving the ground for just a few seconds...woosh! When I started to feel the burn in my legs, I pushed through without breaking my form on the squat movements. Very proud of making it real today. Pushing play, drinking my recovery drink and just getting it done man! Tired of all the excuses. No more time to play around with this because time is the only thing that we can't get back and I am not waiting anymore for things to happen in my life. I will make them happen. - Michael

The Power of Changing your life. P90X
August started a month of change and dedication in my life. My wife just cut her hair which was a huge decision ( 7 years!) which meant if she was going to make changes I wanted to be right there with her. Thank you Coach.
I accomplished my 1st real dedicated workout which was Chest & Back from P90X followed by Ab Ripper X.
Here are my numbers
Here are my numbers
Standard push-up 25/25
Wide font pull ups 13/10
Military Push-ups 30/14
Reverse Grip Chin ups 9/6
Wide Fly Push-ups 20/20
Closed Grip Chin-ups 7/6
Decline Push-ups 10/13
Heavy Pants 10/10 x50 lbs.
Diamond Push- ups 18/14
Lawnmowers 10/10 x 50lbs.
Dive Bomber Push-ups 5/10
Back Flys 10/10 x 15lbs.

Dive Bomber Push-ups 5/10
Back Flys 10/10 x 15lbs.
Improvements:
I needed heavier weight for the Back Fly movement.
I could have done more push-ups the 1st round, next week I will.
I did not push the entire time set ( My coach gladly pointed that out after the 2nd exercise.) and because of that push I did push through the rest for the entire time or until I couldn’t do them with proper form.

My 30 day goal: To do 20 pullups non-stop with proper form. Finish Phase I
My 60 day goal: To do 30 pullups non-stop with proper form. Finish Phase II
My 90 day goal: To do 60 pullups non-stop with proper form and Finish Phase III of P90X

Ab Ripper X: I did all of my reps but I need to improve on my flexibility (Fifer scissors!)
I woke up not really wanting to workout and the moment I pushed play and started to hear Tony speak it all went away. I grabbed my tracker sheet and water and started working out. It’s easy to do but my problem was that it was easy not to do. That’s my problem..I am lazy and I make excuses for everything...WOW! it feels so good to admit that! Today I didn’t make an excuse! I won! So, when someone asks me if I did P90X today I can say

August is a month of change and I am going to make it happen for me and for my family. - Michael

Positivity!
So what? Your stupid! Leave me alone! Your doing it wrong! Just move.. you can't do it!
Stop acting like a b____! Your an a__h__. Go F___ yourself! I hate you! You so full of S___!
SHUT THE F___ UUUUUPPPP!
In your lifetime you are bound to hear people say this to you or around you. You can do two things:
1. Let all the comments ruin your life and live as a hermit in a cave and hide from everyone.
2. Take a breath and respond with assertiveness and respect.
If you don't, you will remain at a loss..and the "bullies" will continue their rants on your self-acclaimed "poor defenseless heart".
Earn your respect and say what you have to say, it's a billion times better to stand up for yourself than to take what live has given you.
You will have to be assertive and it will be something you really care about on a very important day. Take a breath and say what you have to say. Everyone has different personalities and each one of us is unique but staying on a negative road is not the way to go. Remaining postive through every obstacle, each turn, each person that does not see it your way and you will discover how you cope with each stage. You will see how you can turn those negatives into positives. You can change your life with positivity and constant improvement of your weakness and mastery of your strengths to become more than you ever thought imaginable.

100 push ups in a row.
Most people think that they can't do any pushups at all, but have you even tried to do one lately?
Take a serious look at yourself and see what you can do.
PUSH-UP MUSCLE GROUPS WORKED
Target:Pectoralis Major, Sternal
Synergists:Pectoralis Major, Clavicular Deltoid, Anterior ,Triceps Brachii
Dynamic Stabilizers: Biceps Brachii, Short Head
Stabilizers: Rectus Abdominis Obliques Quadriceps
Here is a simple approach to the road of 100 pushups ups
3 times a week Do 4 sets of 25...even if you have to start on your knees.
2nd week: Try to do 2 sets of 50.
3rd week: 1set of75 and 1 set of 25.
4th week: 100 pushups in a row.
I have achieved this by going through the necessary steps.
There are no shortcuts in life or fitness. Do it right and start in now. There is no time like the present. You can have all the excuses in the world and still get buff.
Peace- Michael

Army Days
I decided to go back to my old Army Schedule where I wake up @ 5am.
Here is what it looks like.
5am:Wake up
515: Personal Hygiene
545: Be at formation on time for 6.
6-7am Physical Training
7-9am Personal Hygiene, Breakfast, Clean up and ready for uniform inspection.
*(Clean Shave,Haircut, Uniform Ironed, Boots Shined plus room inspection)
9am-12pm Work ( Snack at 10am)
12pm-1pm Lunch
1pm-3pm Work (Snack) at 3pm
3-pm-5pm Work
5pm Close out formation to find out what to do tomorrow.
5-9pm Free time.
I did this everyday (except weekends)
It was easy because everyone else is doing it. Now that I am out of the Army...I find myself drawn to the schedule that made me so successful.
So I am going back to it. I miss the structure and the self-discipline that came with it.
No more television, or snacking on sweets.
No more alcohol...( I drink a glass of wine every month but I want to cut that out too)
Reading 10 pages a day.
Write a paragraph about what I did today that made my day successful.
Help 2 people a day learn about weight loss and motivate them.
Well that is going to be my schedule for the next 6 months let's see how powerful this change can really be....just sticking to the program day in and day out. Amazing results in 6 months. Take care people.

Go show the world

This video was made with you in mind. There is a life full of moments that your missing out on, but if you capture them on video they will live on forever. Don't be stupid, capture your moments and show them to those that care about you the most. You are the one who can change your entire enviroment by turning off the television and working out for an instead of watching others live. Shut it off and focus on your own life and you will see that it's wonderful. Make each day count. Everyday you can consistently change it. I want to help you succeed not for money BWAHAHAHA! If I wanted money I would get a job. This is about connecting with people are really helping them. If your tired of all the self- hate and wondering if you can change?
Just take a look at my picture. I was the laziest person around...ate the junk food and slept all day. Then I started hating my life and the way I looked. I know I am not the only one with a story like this, millions of people are changing. Join me and I will coach you, it's not going to be easy...if easy was a bus you would be waiting forever and that bus had a mechnical failure..it's not coming.
Take a look at yourself and say "This is where I really am, and this is where I want to be." I did that, I went through all the pain...and even after all the excuses and blaming life for what happened to me and my body, I still had to have a reality check....and after I did that...
it changed my life. You don't have to go through it alone ok. I am here. Thanks for reading.
